The problem

A guest’s arrival depends on several handoffs. The front desk needs to know whether the room is ready and whether recorded preferences have made it into the welcome preparation.

The direction

Luma Stay gives the selected suite a mobile arrival card, readiness checklist and front-office handover note.

Inside the product

  1. Read the arrival

Guest, suite and expected arrival time establish the current preparation context.

  2. Check the welcome tasks

Room inspection and preference matching are separated from the pending welcome note.

  3. Prepare the handover

The arrival details and room-ready note accompany the welcome action.

Design decisions

A room with operational meaning

The suite image includes readiness information and is separate from the cover’s arrival setting.

Preserve the guest context

Arrival timing, the room preference and readiness state stay close to the welcome checklist and handover note.

What we would validate next

Confirm property-management data, housekeeping status, guest-preference permissions and handover timing with hotel operations.
