The problem

A dispatcher needs to coordinate the job and the person doing it. A service booking becomes actionable when the technician, parts and visit window are visible together.

The direction

ServiceField selects a heat-pump call and presents a proposed technician, a dispatch sequence and the service details required for assignment.

Inside the product

  1. Select the service call

The queue separates the heat-pump request from boiler and other scheduled visits.

  2. Check the assignment

Technician identity, service window and parts status establish practical dispatch context.

  3. Dispatch the technician

Call, dispatch and arrival markers show how the selected job moves forward.

Design decisions

Relevant service detail

The cover shows a technician at work; the application uses a separate equipment image.

Align the route

Technician information and route markers share clear edges, keeping the handoff easy to read.

What we would validate next

Validate skill matching, service-area coverage, inventory connections, job updates and offline technician needs with the operations team.

This is an independent design exploration. The screens use illustrative brands and records; they describe a proposed experience.
