The problem

A client can comment on a model while the studio tracks materials and revisions elsewhere. The review needs to make clear which option is being discussed and what remains open.

The direction

Plenum brings the selected atrium option into a material-board view with a revision identifier, comment count and approval handoff.

Inside the product

  1. Choose the submission

The design queue identifies the atrium option, facade and lobby-plan reviews.

  2. Review the material direction

Stone, oak and glazing samples form a concise material board for the selected option.

  3. Send for approval

The client, revision and open-comment context stay near the approval action.

Design decisions

Let materials carry the image

Model-making and material photography support the studio’s work without dominating the interface.

Maintain a restrained grid

Equal swatch insets and fine rules give different materials a comparable presentation.

What we would validate next

Agree model formats, comment ownership, revision history, client access and what constitutes approval before connecting design tools.

This is an independent design exploration. The screens use illustrative brands and records; they describe a proposed experience.
